Atmos
Atmos leads climate & culture editorial with their inventive, exploratory digital platform we design and build.
Atmos is a leader in climate and cultural editorial.
Our Collaboration
We designed and developed Atmos’ digital platform, translating its print sensibility into a living online magazine. We support ongoing evolution across navigation, article systems, donations, newsletters, and the Atmos podcast. Our work allows the platform to grow in step with the business, adapting to new editorial ambitions, audience needs, and storytelling formats while maintaining a consistent point of view.
Clarity & Readability
This site prioritizes clarity and ease of use, ensuring the site feels modern, legible, and informative. Contemporary typography and generous image sizing create a calm, friendly reading experience.
Print-to-Digital Translation
Design draws from Atmos’ print language, adapting typographic and layout for the screen. This approach preserves the editorial character of the publication online—feeling considered and cultural rather than overtly “tech-driven.”
Flexibility & Longevity
The platform is flexible, capable of supporting articles, video, podcasts, special events, and one-off editorial needs. A simple but distinctive structural foundation allows for customization as new formats are introduced.
A Ranging Partnership
Bespoke article templates and landing pages become hero stories, with custom typography, color, and highly tailored layouts.
We work fluidly with the Atmos team responding quickly to needs for specialized content modules including sticky audio players, illustrated elements, and interactive features.
Dedicated landing pages are created for special initiatives, from the Atmos book launch with an accompanying playlist to event experiences like the Blue Renaissance Climate Week program.
“At Atmos, we often look to nature’s intelligence to guide how we create and collaborate. Our relationship with Studio & Marie has felt much the same—symbiotic, generative, and deeply creative. For more than seven years, they’ve been extraordinary partners in shaping the digital expression of our work with passion, imagination, and a shared sense of purpose.”
